We recognize, value and embrace the uniqueness of each individual in our community hence our mission is to promote and enhance the well-being of all our community members — especially students — by maintaining inclusive, safe, and welcoming spaces staffed by qualified librarians and by providing resources, services, and programs that promote and reflect diversity, inclusion, social justice, and wellness that inspire students to be active and contributing members of society.
To empower students to be confident with information and media literacy, by incorporating collaboration, critical and creative thinking through use of varied types of media and information. The library strives to build intentional collections that recognize, value, and embrace the diverse experiences, points of view, and multiple identities and cultures within our community and the larger world.
There is no fixed limit on the number of books or the time allowed to borrow. However, two times per year, in December and June, outstanding notices will be sent to students and the designated parent or guardian in our library system requesting the books be returned by a stated deadline. The charge for overdue books is CHF25 per item. Items returned after the deadline are eligible for a credit of half the amount. This amount will be credited in a future student billing statement.
